The Manzil routine - what to recite
The proven self-ruqyah set is: Surah Al-Fatiha once, Ayatul-Kursi (2:255) once, the last two verses of Al-Baqarah (2:285-286) once, and Surah Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and An-Nas three times each - all with Arabic and meaning on our dua pages. Recite with conviction that healing is from Allah alone; the words are the means, He is the Healer.
Do this routine morning and evening, ideally after Fajr and after Asr or Maghrib. The Prophet, peace be upon him, recited the three Quls over himself three times every night before sleeping, wiping his hands over his body (Sahih al-Bukhari) - make that your nightly anchor even on busy days.
Method, water, oil and the home
Recite slowly with presence of heart, then blow lightly (nafth - spittle-free blowing) into your hands and wipe over your head, face and body; blow over water or olive oil and drink or rub it; and recite in your home - Surah Al-Baqarah drives satans away (Sahih Muslim), and the adhan in the home repels them too. Continue daily for weeks without impatience - ruqyah is worship, not a one-time spell.
Keep the five prayers, morning-evening adhkar and wudu through the day: protection works as a system, not a single recitation. Avoid amulets (taweez) with unreadable writing, unknown names or Quran mixed with symbols - the ruqyah that heals is the recited Quran and authentic duas, done by yourself, for yourself.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How to do ruqyah on yourself step by step?
Recite Al-Fatiha, Ayatul-Kursi, the last two Baqarah verses and the three Quls three times each, blow into your hands and wipe your body, blow over water to drink - morning and evening daily.
How many days should I do self-ruqyah?
Continue daily for weeks or months without fixing a magic number. Consistency with prayer and adhkar matters more than duration; consult scholars if symptoms persist.
Can I do ruqyah without a raqi or scholar?
Yes - self-ruqyah is the sunnah default and better than seeking others. A righteous reciter may help, but never one who demands money upfront, seclusion or unreadable amulets.
