ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿2﴾
سب طرح کی تعریف خدا ہی کو (سزاوار) ہے جو تمام مخلوقات کا پروردگار ہے

All praise belongs to Allah alone — gratitude for lordship over every world, seen and unseen.

ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ﴿3﴾
بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا
Tafsir — verse 3
The Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful — mercy embracing all creation, and believers specifically.

مَٰلِكِ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ ﴿4﴾
انصاف کے دن کا حاکم
Tafsir — verse 4
Master of the Day of Judgment — worship with hope in His mercy and fear of His reckoning.

إِيَّاكَ نَعۡبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسۡتَعِينُ ﴿5﴾
(اے پروردگار) ہم تیری ہی عبادت کرتے ہیں اور تجھ ہی سے مدد مانگتے ہیں

You alone we worship and ask — Tawhid of worship and reliance; the axis of the whole surah.

ٱهۡدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَ ﴿6﴾
ہم کو سیدھے رستے چلا
Tafsir — verse 6
Guide us to the straight path — the daily dua: Islam, firm and balanced, neither excess nor neglect.

صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ غَيۡرِ ٱلۡمَغۡضُوبِ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ ﴿7﴾
ان لوگوں کے رستے جن پر تو اپنا فضل وکرم کرتا رہا نہ ان کے جن پر غصے ہوتا رہا اور نہ گمراہوں کے
