The method

Make wudu, pray two voluntary rakahs with presence, praise Allah and send salawat, then recite the need-dua (on our dua pages) and state your need in any language - explicitly, repeatedly, humbly. The need-dua’s chain is graded weak-to-fair by scholars, so pray it as general supplication, never as a guaranteed formula.

Best times: the last third of the night, between adhan and iqamah, and Fridays’ answered hour - need plus blessed time multiplies hope. Repeat across nights; one-off rituals with fixed counts (e.g. “12 rakahs with 100x”) have no basis.

Needs, halal means and patience

Hajah covers marriage, jobs, exams, health, debt - any halal need. Pair prayer with halal means: apply, study, consult, strive. Dua without means is wishful thinking; means without dua is arrogance.

If the need is delayed, it is stored, substituted or averted-harm (Tirmidhi) - never wasted. Keep a needs journal: date asked, date answered, gratitude recorded.
