عِنْدَ صِيَاحِ الدِّيكِ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ، وَعِنْدَ نَهِيقِ الْحِمَارِ: أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
Transliteration
Indas-siyahid-diki: Allahumma inni as’aluka min fadlik. Wa inda nahi qil-himari: A’udhu billahi minash-shaytanir-rajim.
Meaning
At a rooster’s cry: O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty — for it saw an angel. At a donkey’s bray: I seek refuge in Allah from Satan — for it saw a devil.
